Why this matters

The Caribbean's applied-AI authority for the legal sector.

CariLex is the legal practice of Quantum AI Research & Development Company Ltd. We implement, train and govern AI inside Caribbean law firms — so this series is drawn from real practice, not theory.

The real risk

Lawyers are already pasting client documents into general-purpose AI tools, relying on citations that were never verified, and using software that has never been assessed for confidentiality. None of that is malice — it is simply an absence of guidance.

This series provides the guidance: human-supervised, governance-first, and grounded in how Caribbean practices actually work.

What you'll learn

Outcomes you can use on Monday morning.

Every session assumes deep legal expertise and no AI background. Nothing is assumed, nothing is condescended to.

Know what is safe to paste

Understand which AI tools can touch client information — and which ones quietly put privilege and confidentiality at risk.

Draft faster, safely

Use AI to move quicker through first drafts, summaries and correspondence without compromising your work product.

Avoid the sanctionable mistakes

Recognise hallucinated citations, unvetted tools and the handful of errors that have already cost lawyers elsewhere.

Research without getting burned

Combine AI with proper legal research so every authority you rely on is real, current and verifiable.

Write your firm's AI policy

Leave with the structure of a usable AI usage policy for your practice, however small the firm.

Stay ahead of the regulators

Understand what bar associations and regulators will eventually require, before you are asked for it.

FAQ

Straight answers.

Is this really free?

Yes. The Lawyers Lab is a community series. There is no fee, and no obligation to work with CariLex afterwards.

Do I need to attend live?

We strongly encourage it — the value is in the open Q&A and the conversation with other practitioners. Registered lawyers are notified when a replay is available.

Is this CLE-accredited?

Not yet. We are honest about that. The series is the foundation for our upcoming accredited credential programme for AI-ready practices.

Will my questions be confidential?

Sessions are a professional, closed conversation. Questions are never attributed publicly, and you are welcome to ask anonymously.
